Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Her most recent appearance was Carlota in the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1st 1970) is an American actor, singer and comic. The actress became well-known for her role as a guest in the NBC Sketch Comedy Show Saturday Night Live. Since then, she has been on sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth and NBC's American Auto. She also starred on the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer started out as a singing major in the vocal department at Northwestern University, and later switched her attention to theater study when she joined the improv group on campus. The spirit of the group has been carried through her many parts in supporting roles such as the extremely manageable Sheila Shay (agent), in Lady Dynamite, as well as in the Suburgatory's Sheila Shay. All of this has led to American Auto, an NBC comedy series that finally gives Ana Gasteyer her starring role. Her most notable role is her tenure as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1996 until 2002. Since then, Gasteyer has been a part of sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto as well as the movie Mean Girls. Ana Gasteyer has waited her all her life to be a part of American Auto. Martha, Inc., The Story of Martha Stewart, (2003), and Martha: Behind Bars, (2005) were television films that were based on her story. The character was played in both films by Cybill Shepherd in both films.
