Kellie Martin is the American actress and filmmaker best known as Christy Huddleston in the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. She is also known as the star of"The Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin was born to a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". Her professional career began after graduating Yale University. This led to her being offered major part-time roles in the TV and film industries. Martin is a professional actor, and a skilled photographer and dancer has been in the business for more than 20 years.
